Optical sensors line
They are sensors whose operation is based on the emission of a light beam, which is received by a photosensitive element. They are basically divided into three distinct types: light screen, diffusion and reflection system.

It is a system formed by aligned optics, that is, the emitting device is placed opposite and aligned with the receiving device.

The infrared emitting and receiving elements are assembled juxtaposed in the same optic set, directed to the sensor sensitive face. The infrared rays emitted by the transmitter reflect on the surface of an object and return towards the receiver at a certain distance (switching distance), causing the electronic switching, provided that the object has a surface that is not completely matte.

Diffraction system - Metallic barrel housing
They are sensors whose emitting and receiving elements are juxtaposed in the same optic set. The rays emitted by the transmitter reflect on a prism and return towards the receiver. When this prism is immersed in any liquid, the rays disperse changing their direction, causing an electronic switching placed at its front and return to the receiving element.
