This value is calculated based on the reported data for rated power, rated voltage, power factor and efficiency. This data is essential for the Soft-Starter specification. Unit: Ampere (A).

Select the number of poles according to your motor. This data will be used to define the motor speed. The standard motors are available with 2, 4, 6 and 8 poles. When selecting a higher number of poles, for example "12" poles, the system will not find a corresponding motor in the WEG data base. In this case certain values will not be recommended and you will be required to enter them manually.

It is the frequency of the network for which the motor was designed. Select an option equal to the one chosen in the respective field of the "General Data" screen. Unit: Hertz (Hz).

This concerns a data base of loads with their respective characteristics. When specifying a load, the system will suggest certain characteristics, the data of the torque x speed curves and inertia refered to the motor shaft.

In this field it is possible to indicate, if known, as a percentage how much of the nominal motor torque the load requires.

The system selects this number according to the selected value. You may modify this value for another listed value. However, it must be as precise as possilble because it directly influences the sizing.

(Duty Cycle) This value corresponds to the motor running time between two starts, for example: The time delay between starts is 10 min and the utilization factor (Duty Cycle) is 60%, this means the motor will run 6 min and stay off for 4 min.

It allows filtering the list of compatible materials by choosing one of the electronics supply voltage options for the soft-starter according to the control voltage used in your electrical system. Do not select anything if you do not want to apply this filter.
