WEG BENELUX S.A.
Established in September 1992, WEG Benelux S.A. proudly stands as the first European sales branch of WEG. Strategically located in the heart of Europe, our branch benefits from an excellent road and railway network and proximity to Antwerp, Europe's second-largest port. This prime location ensures seamless logistic support for WEG branches and independent distributors across Europe.
Our local distributors in Belgium and the Netherlands enjoy exceptional service and access to a significant stock at our Nivelles branch. Since 2003, we've focused on expanding our OEM accounts, drawn to WEG's extensive product range and flexible approach. To better serve these growing needs, we relocated to new premises in August 2004.
WEG Benelux S.A. is dedicated to supporting the local end-user market with a reliable sales and service network for low and medium voltage motors and drives products. In 2021, we commissioned a new warehouse with a total area of 6,300 m² and a fully equipped workshop of 500 m².
In 2024, we further enhanced our capabilities by establishing a new WG20 gear assembly line in Belgium, reducing lead times and improving customer service.
WEG offers a comprehensive range of products, including low and medium voltage motors, generators, drives, soft starters, coatings, contactors, transformers, and reducers, providing total solutions to our valued customers.

Restricted Substances and Conflict Minerals Policy
WEG is committed to controlling and restricting restricted substances (composition and origin), in its products and production processes, in accordance with the limits established in the regulations, contributing to the sustainability of the business.
Abrangence
This document is applicable to products manufactured in all WEG's business units and branches, and can be deployed in the branches with the necessary local adaptations.
Guidelines
- Guide the handling of issues related to restricted substances in WEG products, according to the applicable regulations, in the production plants, commercial branches and suppliers of raw materials, components and inputs;
- Respect the limits of restricted substances, established in the regulations, in their products, packaging, processes and WEG supply chain, using the WEG’s Restricted Substances List (LSR) as an official basis;
- Monitor the appearance of new regulations or changes to existing ones, revising the LSR whenever necessary;
- Make efforts in its supply chain to ensure that its products do not have minerals from countries with mining restrictions (Conflict Minerals).
Roles and Responsabilities
WEG Supply Areas
- Develop and maintain suppliers that comply with the LSR and the WEG procedures, including those related to Conflict Minerals;
- Ensure that the suppliers' declarations of conformity and the tests carried out are updated according to WEG procedures.
Suppliers of raw materials, components and inputs
- Ensure adherence with this Policy and be in accordance with the Supplier's Code of Ethics and the Supply Agreement;
- Supply raw materials, components and inputs according to the LSR and the WEG procedures, including those related to Conflict Minerals;
- Provide the Declarations of Service to the directives and, when requested, the supporting analyzes;
- Involve your suppliers, supply chain, in the management of restricted substances process and Conflict Minerals.
