WEG S.A. announced today the acquisition of Autrial S.L., a manufacturer of industrial electric panels headquartered in Valencia, Spain.

Autrial was founded in 1977 as a family-owned business and has extensive experience in the production of electric panels for switch, control and protection of electric motors, distribution panels, panels for generator sets, panels for photovoltaic systems, among others.

With manufacturing facilities covering an area of 10,000 square meters (100,000 sq-ft) , the company employs around 122 people. Net revenues in 2014 were in the range of €14 million.

As stated by Mr. Manfred Peter Johann, WEG Automation Managing Director, “this acquisition will leverage WEG’s automation product portfolio in Europe and will allow WEG to expand the automation business globally.”
