The largest mining equipment fair of the African continent will take place from 8th to 12th September. The event will bring together exhibitors from all over the world at the Nasrec Expo Center in the city of Johannesburg, South Africa.

According to international analysts, the biannual fair contributes heavily for the modernization of the African mining industry and also for emerging industries in countries like Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

At the G30 stand of its ditributor ZEST on aisle 6, WEG will introduce its innovative motor series W22 and CFW11 Modular drive.

"It's really worth it to see the solutions WEG will be introducing this year, which are more and more focused on high efficiency", states the company's vice-president and international director SĂŠrgio Schwartz.

In 2006 Electra Mining gathered together around 35 thousand professionals of the sector with excellent results for the mining industry. The business volume of this event is expected to be 15% higher than the last edition.
