WEG is on the best placed list for the Broadcast Empresas Award 2020, carried out by Agência Estado in partnership with investment platform Economática. Among the 185 companies, with shares traded at B3, WEG was ranked 2nd place, generating the best performance to their shareholders. In addition, WEG was also awarded in the special category “Sustainability”.

Companies with a net asset above R$ 10 million have participated in the ranking and those which released their balance sheets within the term provided by law and are up to date with their creditors within the analyzed period.

Marking 20 years of the ranking, this edition evaluated seven performance indicators considered by investors and financial market professionals: variation in equity profitability; payment of dividends in relation to equity; price / profit index; price / equity value per share; share price fluctuation; stock market volatility; and share liquidity.

The awarding ceremony including the top ten companies with the best performance for their shareholders in 2019 was held virtually September 25 by Agência Estado.
