Iran's largest cement plant

Iran's largest cement plant - Naien Cement Co. - has just received its first two packages of electric motors supplied by WEG. The deal was handled by WEG Germany, through the German Company, Cemag Anlagenbau. Manufactured at WEG plants in Brazil and in Portugal, the initial motor package includes:

1 x 1400Kw, 6 pole, 6000V, 50Hz, MAF 560A
4 x 2400Kw, 6 pole, 6000V, 50Hz, MAF 710A
1 x 4400Kw, 6 pole, 6000V, 50Hz, MAF 800L

The second package includes squirrel cage motors:

2 x 430Kw, 6 pole, 550V, 50Hz, HGF 400L
1 x 730Kw, 4 pole, 690V, 50Hz, HGF 450B
1 x 1100Kw, 6 pole, 650V, 50Hz, MGF 500C
2 x 1730Kw, 6 pole, 650V, 50Hz, MGF 560L
1 x 6300Kw, 6 pole, 3100V, 50Hz, MGF 800A driven by a frequency drive
Plus a package of W21 low voltage motors manufactured in Portugal.

Large Package to Oman

Another significant package of electric motors was sold recently by WEG India. The end user - cement company, Gulf Cement - acquired a package including seven large motors for the Gulf Cement Project. The engineering for the motors part of the project was handled by the German Company Polysius.
