WEG was ranked number 1 in the 20th edition of the Exame de Sustentabilidade 2019 Directory, in the Capital Goods sector. The research methodology and data analysis were performed by ABC Associates, considering initiatives and projects in all aspects of the corporate sustainability.

Created in 2000, the Exame de Sustentabilidade Directory highlights the best corporate responsibility practices in Brazil by classifying participating companies according to their score in four different areas: general, economic, social and environmental.

WEG was one of 229 Brazilian companies assessed by the Directory this year and was highlighted for its innovation and manufacturing of renewable energy generation solutions.
