WEG ranked 4th place by Valor Carreira 2017 Directory considering companies with over 17,000 employees. This award is conducted by Aon, which is regarded as one of the most renowned Human Resources Consulting Companies in the world and is also in partnership with the Brazilian financial newspaper Valor Econômico.
In 2001, "The Best in Human Resource Management" survey was created to not only provide an overview of how the company is ranked in relation to other companies in terms of human resource management, but to also measures how employees are engaged (willing to make an extra effort for the company), how the company encourages high performance, and the satisfaction level of those employees who work within it.
At WEG, approximately 2,500 employees were selected to respond to the survey, 2,120 of these participated. The study follows a strict proportionality rule regarding number of employees, hierarchical levels, positions, places of work and employment time in the company.
