The CEO of WEG, Harry Schmelzer Jr., received the prize with Managing Director of WEG Coatings, Reinaldo Richter; Automation Systems Sales Director, Makoto Helcio Morikossi; Corporate Financial and Administration Managing Director, AndrĂŠ Luis Rodrigues; and Investor Relations Manager, Luis Fernando Moran Oliveira.

WEG received the award for Best Company of the Capital Goods Sector given by Exame Magazine on its Biggest and Best 2016 Directory this past June.

The award is the result of a research conducted by Exame magazine, which considers economic and financial information related to 2015 such as market leadership, profitability, growth rate, liquidity, investments and resources generated per employee.

As done every year, the magazine publishes a list of 1000 biggest and best companies in Brazil, highlighting the 18 winners by business segment. This is the 12th time WEG was considered in the capital goods sector. Last year WEG was the winner and was elected as the Company of the Year.
