WEG was the winner of the 2024 Top of Mind Award, promoted by the NSC Communication Group, in the category of large industrial companies. The company also won in the Sustainability and Environment category, and Décio da Silva, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was recognized as distinguished entrepreneur.

Conducted in partnership with the Mapa Institute, the survey aims to highlight the brands whose achievements are etched in the hearts of the people in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. For this, 39 categories are selected, divided between Top Population and Top Executives. The survey does not offer multiple-choice options, meaning respondents can mention any preferred brand or the entrepreneur they most admire.

The Top of Mind special reached its 29th edition, and the award ceremony was held at the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina (FIESC) in Florianopolis and was broadcast live on NSC Total. WEG's CEO, Alberto Kuba, along with the Director of Sustainability and Institutional Relations, Daniel Godinho, and the Corporate Marketing Manager, Deisne de Araujo, were present in the event, representing the company.
