Founded in 1991, TGM is a leading Brazilian provider of solutions and equipment for power generator drivers, focusing on thermal and wind renewable energy, from the initial viability studies to the complete plant operation, including systems studies and industrial energy planning. It also supplies equipment for mechanical drives, like exhausters, fans, shredders, water pumps, mills, sugar cane levelers, turbocompressors, turbo blowers, and a specific line for industrial processes.
In addition to the facilities located in Sertãozinho, occupying an area of 70,000 square meters, TGM also has operations in the cities of Maceio (state of Alagoas), São José dos Campos (state of São Paulo) and one in Nuremberg, Germany. Employing around 1000 people, the company revenues were in the range of R$ 238 million (about 70 Million in US Dollars) in 2015.
As stated by Eduardo de Nóbrega, WEG Energy Managing Director, TGM’s acquisition expands WEG product portfolio in terms of generation and other industrial segments. “We now have the possibility of providing complete and more competitive solutions, both in Brazil and internationally”, says Eduardo.
