Rafael is graduated in Mechanical Engineering, post graduated in Business Administration and international executive MBA.

His professional career includes management experience in Engineering, Project Management and Technical Sales at Bosch. In addition, he held de position of Business Units Director at PPG Industries, where he was responsible for the Coatings and Varnishes units for the packaging, industrial and automotive segments.

At WEG, the executive has held the position of Managing Director of WEG Coatings since July 2022. As Managing Director of the unit, Rafael is responsible for the Research and Development, Liquid and Powder Coatings, Resins and Electrical Insulating Varnishes, Quality, Sales, Procurement and Customer Service areas.
