In a ceremony held on September 26, 2017, at the WTC Events Center, in São Paulo, WEG received the Kaizen Lean award in the “Excellence in Continuous Improvement System” category. This award takes into account the company´s best practices for the integration and promotion of processes continuous improvement.
“For WEG, the award represents a true recognition as a reference in lean manufacturing, in addition to distinguishing the company while implementing best quality and productivity practices among national and even global players”, says Mr. Reinaldo Stuart Junior, WEG Automation Industrial and Product Development Director.
The same recognition was made to WEG in 2016, however it was in the productivity category.
