WEG has projected a complete system of power generation for the Grupo Modelo, in Mexico, largest producer of beer in the country, with 63% of the market.
Generators, HV Panels, MCC's, power inlet and outlet control system and all the automation of the thermoelectrical central with supervisory system, including boiler, turbines, patio of biomass and generators, are part of the electric package for the generation of energy of the industry.
"Besides the improvement and regularization of the supply of beers, the power generation will help the company to reduce the costs in fosses fuels heading the company towards the sustainable development", explains Sergio Carvalho Esteves, WEG Energy Business Center-Manager.
The Grupo Modelo, established in 1925, has seven plants in Mexico, responsible for the production of six billion liters of beer per year. Among them they are distinguished it Modelo Especial and the famous Corona Extra, consumed Mexican beer in the world.
