The WEG Group received on the night of August 7 the best Capital Goods Company award from Exame Magazine on its Biggest and Best Directory.

The award is the result of a survey conducted by Exame magazine, which considers economic and financial information for 2016. The winning companies are identified in 20 sectors of the economy and are highlighted by the success they have achieved in conducting their business and market share achievement in 2016 compared to the previous year. The selection method is basically done through a comparison of the results achieved in terms of growth rate, profitability, financial health, market share and productivity per employee.

As in every year, the magazine publishes the list of the 1000 biggest and best companies in Brazil, highlighting the 20 winners by business sector. This is the 13th time that WEG has been awarded in the Capital Goods sector. In 2014, the company was elected the Company of the Year.
