The paper "High Inertia of Hydrogenerators - impact on cost, performance & investment in manufacturing facilities" was one of 33 works selected for Elroma's 7th edition, an international conference on giant electrical machines which takes place at the same time as Elecrama, the eastern world's largest industrial electro-electronic and related products fair.
The article submitted by engineers Marcio Rossi and Carlos Grillo was elected as the event's best. "We explained on diverse hydrogenerator construction techniques aiming the inertia increase, the project and process technical limitations of each choice as well as the required technology level and investments in Engineering and Manufacturing in order to qualify a company to all sort of different proposed design types", explains Grillo.
The conference main objectives are to explore new markets and interact with new technologies.
