In line with the WEG Group strategy of expanding business globally, WEG Singapore, which covers the South Asian countries, has recently participated at the Oil and Gas technology trade exhibition OSEA 2010.

OSEA was established three decades ago to be the greatest industry event for Asia. With a record breaking number of over 25,00 attendees, this international event staged its biggest edition ever from November 30th to December 3rd at Suntec Singapore.

WEG took the chance to promote its line of products, especially the Non - Sparking and Explosion Proof Motors, for hazardous areas. The stand also presented the line of CFW-11 drives and soft-starters, as part of the WEG solutions to the Oil and Gas market.

The event was a remarkable success and among the four days of the fair, the WEG stand attracted visitors from over 60 countries. The main benefit resulting from this event is the promotion of WEG in the Asian Oil and Gas industry with greater brand recognition in this market.
