Since its inception, WEG India has been determined in its process improvement, facilitated by the WEG Continuous Improvement Management System, known as the WEG Manufacturing System (WMS). This commitment has led to significant investments in Kaizen practices, a participatory management system empowering all employees to contribute ideas for enhancing their involved processes.

Under the KaizenWEG initiative, thousands of ideas are annually implemented, culminating in outstanding results. Since 2021, dedicated to registering improvements, over 1527 Kaizens have been executed company-wide in WEG India, underscoring WEG's dedication to innovation and operational excellence. And since its introduction in 2016, the KaizenWEG portal has seen over 210,000 improvements registered within the WEG group of companies.

To honour the invaluable contributions of these employees, WEG India has hosted this annual Kaizen event on 28th March 2024. This significant occasion engaged approximately 1148 employees from the outset of the selection process, resulting in a remarkable 657 Kaizens completed exclusively within the High-Voltage machine manufacturing sector in WEG India.

The event commenced with project presentations, followed by the recognition of standout employees across various categories including Safety, Quick Kaizen, Standard/Advanced Kaizen, and Mobilization. This recognition was extended to employees in each department. During this event, 16 standouts were acknowledged.

The KaizenWEG 2023 event not only celebrated individual achievements but also underscored WEG's culture of continuous improvement, which continues to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity across all processes.
