Vigeo Eiris’ Best Emerging Markets ranking is made up of the top 100 companies from emerging markets. The entire evaluation takes into consideration over 850 companies from 37 sectors and from 31 countries. The 100 companies that were included in the index are 27 sectors and 19 countries. Members making part of the index are reviewed every six months.

The evaluation process considers about 330 indicators about environment, human rights, human resources, community approach, business performance, and corporate governance.

This award strengthens the position and performance of WEG in these aspects. In Brazil, together with WEG, only 12 companies were included in the ranking.
