WEG is one of three Brazilian companies mentioned in Carbon Clean200TM Report (Clean200TM) that represents the top 200 clean energy companies publicly traded in the world. WEG appears in 102nd place in the ranking.

Prepared by As You Sow and Corporate Knights, the Clean200TM ranks the largest publicly traded companies in the world by their estimated green revenues. The dataset is developed by multiplying the company´s most recent year-end revenue by its BNEF (Bloomberg New Energy Finance) New Energy Exposure Rating mid-point. To be eligible, the company must have a market capitalization greater than US$ 1 billion (end of Q2 2016) and earn more than 10% of total revenues from New Energy sources. More than 70 members of the list receive most of their revenues originated from clean energy. The Clean200TM calculates the performance based on a “snapshot-in-time analysis” and will be updated quarterly.
