Donating blood is an act of love and saves lives. WEG Portugal's Employees were the heroes of another campaign organized internally, in partnership with the Instituto Português de Sangue e da Transplantação.

As usual, WEG Portugal organized the second annual Blood Donation Campaign with its Employees. Since its foundation, WEG has had the well-being of the surrounding society in its DNA and with this second initiative, they were able to save more than 318 lives.

This blood collection took place on October 3rd and 4th, at the Santo Tirso and Maia factories and involved 106 employees. With this second collection, the year 2023 closes with a total of 196 donations, that make it possible to save up to 588 lives.

For WEG, this action is especially important because of its direct impact on the lives of all those in need and reinforces the idea behind all volunteering and social responsibility activities: doing good is good!
