With the purpose to show the company expertise and experience and to consolidate the company as a Global Supplier of Medium Voltage Electric Motors and Drives, WEG held a roadshow through Europe and Southeast Asia, in April, promoting the company’s technical capability on the supply of Large Electric Motors and Large Variable Speed Drives (bigger than 5MW) to key players of the Oil & Gas sector, End Users, Machine Manufacturers, and Engineering Companies.

Throughout the event, there were different construction technologies choices presented for large electric motors and its respective driving systems, combining innovative alternatives, technically applicable and economically viable, aiming the competitiveness of the company’s products, ensuring the best efficiency on implementation and operational performance, both key factors, especially on the Oil & Gas sector, alongside robustness, reliability, optimized cost and simplified maintenance, performance and smaller initial investment (CAPEX). 

WEG had the opportunity of presenting case studies of its supply to the Oil & Gas industry, reinforcing its experience and know-how acquired on the development, project and manufacturing of rotating electric machines and drives, as well as the main competitive differentials of its products and solutions.

In total, 7 countries were visited in Europe and another 5 on Southeast Asia, allowing direct contact with over 25 companies and 150 key decision makers directly involved with the Oil & Gas industry.
