WEG is among the best placed in the Broadcast Empresas Award 2023, prepared by Agência Estado in partnership with investment platform Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV. The company was ranked 3rd among more than 200 companies, with shares traded on the B3, which generated the best performance for shareholders. In addition, the company was also awarded in the special “Sustainability” category.

Companies with net asset above R$ (BRL) 10 million have participated in the ranking, which disclosed their balance sheets within the term provided by law and which are up to date with their creditors within the analyzed period.

Now in its 23rd edition, the ranking evaluated seven indicators widely considered by investors and financial market executives: change in equity profitability; payment of dividends in relation to equity; price/earnings index (PE); Price-to-book value (P/B); stock price fluctuation; stock volatility; and liquidity. Each company is represented by its most liquid share (ON or PN).

The ten best performing companies for their shareholders in 2022 were revealed June 29th, at 09:00 am, in a face-to-face event held by Agência Estado in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was attended by the CFO of WEG, André Luis Rodrigues and the Director of Finance and Investor Relations André Menegueti Salgueiro.
