In line with the company's strategy of establishing own operations in key market, WEG has just opened a new branch office in the Middle East area. Headquartered in the city of Dubai, part of United Arab Emirates, "WEG Middle East" will have its activities dedicated to sales, distribution and service of WEG product in that region, which is a very high potential market, mainly in the oil and gas, public water desalinization and distribution services and power generation area.

"Dubai is the gateway to the Middle East, an important financial center that is very well served in terms of infrastructure. Aside from that, the oil and gas market is strategic for WEG's activities", says WEG's Managing Director and Relations with Investors, Alidor Luerders.

This is WEG's twentieth overseas own subsidiary besides counting on a network of over nineteen distributors and agents all over the world.
