WEG, as the only manufacturer of industrial electric motors in Portugal, attended the Porto Water Innovation Week (PWIW), which took place at the Customs Center of Oporto the week of September 24th.
PWIW was highlighted by the two conferences with the European Commission's "EIP Water Conference" and "Mayors & Water Conference", as well as, by the Water Innovation Lab and Water & People.
This international event, which brought together approximately 900 people, including scientists, investors, business leaders and experts from 60 countries in five continents, was attended by approximately 100 companies and startups interconnected to the water sector.
WEG was an exhibitor, promoting its products and services, but also enhancing the confidence and the assurance of excellence, recognized not only by its customers, but by the market in general.
While performing tech talks, WEG was represented by Engineer, Ricardo Cunha, with the lecture "WEG solutions for the water industry".
Strategically integrating the water sector into its business portfolio, WEG has strengthened its Product Engineering and Research & Development capabilities to provide technical and efficient solutions in industrial applications both in Portugal and at global level.
In addition to promoting its strengths and growth dynamics, this event enabled WEG to positively contribute to the existing water business industry and add to its value chain, a network of partners and suppliers within the water sector.
