Asia’s longest serving Sugar Conference and Exhibition comes to Vietnam with an incentive! Co-located for the first time ever as part of IBCs Soft Commodity Week in Vietnam, four different events will bring and even stronger knowledge and networking proposition. IBC Sugar is a regular event taking place every year in Asia and moving every year to a different country.
In South East Asia, some countries play important role on the sugar industry, as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines. WEG as the global player for products and technology for the sugar and ethanol industry is bringing its background and expertise to these countries with the purpose of increasing the productivity and efficiency of their operating plants.
With an already-installed base of motors and drives in sugar industries around South East Asia, WEG effectively started in the last 02 years to focus on the Sugar and Ethanol segment. “It is our strategic plan to turn WEG into a key player for equipment and technology for the sugar industry in the South East Asia, gaining a significant part of the market share for LV and MV electric motors and drives, gearboxes, generators and steam turbines, as well as process technology automation”, says Murilo Logullo Machado – Managing Director of WEG South East Asia (WSEA).
WEG team will be attending the event with personnel from Brazilian Automation Division, and TGM steam turbine manufacturing plant as well as WSEA and local distributor Nam Phat representatives.
Mr. Marcos Antonio Mesquita, WEG Senior Project Manager, Sugar and Ethanol, will be one of the speakers, presenting the topic Power Consumption Improvement is Sugar Plants on December 5th at 4:30 PM.
