WEG was one of the finalists for the “100+ IT Most Innovative Companies” award, held by the IT Mídia in association with PwC.

The results of the survey, released yesterday during the first day of the IT Forum Anywhere, recognized the executives responsible for the digital transformation initiatives that have influenced businesses in the last year.

Paulo Sérgio dos Santos, WEG IT Director, was awarded 1st place in the Holdings and Business Groups category.

This year, the award received 241 entries. From this list, 100 were ranked and 22 executives were awarded with the most innovative trophy in the category in which they participated.

By analyzing the initiatives, the award also reveals an X-ray of how industries and different sectors in the country have invested in technology not only to seek higher efficiency and competitive advantage, but are also innovating when they are concerned with the customer experience.
