WEG was one of the companies that won the “Época Negócios 360º” Award, granted by Época Negócios Magazine.

In addition to the first place in the overall ranking of the Mechanics and Steel sector, WEG also ranked the best position in the Innovation area.

In its eighth edition, the Época Negócios 360º guide is the result of a technical partnership with Dom Cabral Foundation – contributing with the methodology creation, conducting the survey and processing the information. Partnership with the company Boa Vista SCPC for balance sheet research and financial data processing, and with the company Economatica for data and rankings of open-capital companies was also part of this award process.

The publication stands out for taking into account not only financial performance, but also considering fundamental management aspects such as corporate governance, sustainability, HR management, innovation capacity and long-term vision.

Based on responses from the participating companies, the winners were chosen in 27 business sectors and in each of the six topics of the survey. This is the seventh consecutive year that WEG receives first place in the Mechanics and Steel sector.

The awarding ceremony took place on October 21, 2019 in São Paulo.
