The motor is part of the "WELL LINE" and will take its place in the "WEG Museum" to mark this historic occasion.

During its first year of operation in 1961 WEG produced 146 motors with an increase to 5,000 a year later. After 10 years total production had increase to 200,000 with the most in a single year being 8 Million in 2005.

With 45 years of manufacturing products including motors, generators, drives, soft starts, control and switchgear, transformers, industrial paints and varnishes WEG can look forward with pride to many more outstanding achievements in manufacturing.
