Harry Schmelzer Jr., President and CEO of the WEG Group, won, for the ninth consecutive time, the Valuable Executive Award in the Industry Machinery and Equipment category.
Hosted by Brazilian financial newspaper Valor Econômico, the award elects the best executives from 23 different industry sectors. The selection process takes into account corporate management of business executives in the year 2016 with emphasis on financial results, identification innovation and growth opportunities, reputation of each executive in the market and their expertise of adapting themselves to different industrial sectors and companies.
This is the ninth time Harry has won, and the 14th time that WEG has won as a distinguished place in this ranking in 15 years.

In its 17th edition, the award ceremony took place on May 2nd, 2017 in São Paulo.
