Organizational Climate Management

At WEG, organizational climate management consists of the stages of investigation, diagnosis, action plans, implementation and monitoring.

The Internal Organizational Climate Survey is a tool that indicates employees' perception of the company's climate and their engagement and satisfaction through data collection. It is implemented in all units in Brazil and is expanding to branches abroad.

Based on the results, strategies and actions are outlined to build a more inclusive, innovative and high-performance environment. Action plans are developed by leaders to meet specific needs and a corporate plan meets common needs between different areas and locations.

The result is evolving with each cycle, the result of joint work between managers and all employees. The Internal Organizational Climate Survey revealed in 2022 an increase of 11% in the level of satisfaction, reaching a total of 78.8%.

External recognition

As a highlight in people management, WEG has received external recognition as "a place where everyone wants to work" (employer of choice). Mexico has been recognized for 12 years with the Super Empresas Expansión award. In 2024, she was recognized again in this award.

Code of Ethics

The WEG Code of Ethics plays an important role in establishing the conduct expected from our employees and other stakeholders, as well as in reinforcing WEG's commitment to promoting a culture of respect for others.

Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Understanding the importance of the role of leaders for Diversity and Inclusion, WEG has a training module in the Leadership Academy dedicated to the topic.

The WEG Leadership Academy is part of the Leadership Development Program, which aims at providing new leaders with immersion in the WEG culture and point out the importance of their role in the people management process.

In addition to the training module at the Leadership Academy, lectures and workshops have been held to engage and raise awareness among managers.

Training on the WEG Code of Ethics for all employees also encompasses issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Qualification Program for people with disability

Aware of the challenges and needs for continuous evolution on different fronts of diversity and inclusion, WEG has been developing important initiatives to improve inclusion management of people with disabilities.

The Qualification for People with Disability program aims at training and developing people with disability to work in operational activities.

In addition to Brazil, employees in operations in China, South Africa, Mexico, India and Spain are also governed by collective agreements, representing approximately 87% of WEG employees worldwide.

Development and Qualification

WEG offers education and training programs that involve technical and behavioral qualifications, aiming at providing its employees with greater competence and generating more competitive strategies to the market. That is essential for the good performance and professional development of employees, as well as for contributing to the fulfilment of the organization's expectations of continuous and sustainable growth.

All employees’ training is focused on the needs of the current position or the position that the employee is being prepared to take in the future.

To assist employees in their development and career, WEG has elevation, development and qualification programs, such as: QPOP - Professional Qualification of Production Operators, QPET - Professional Qualification of Engineers and Technologists, QPSS - Professional Qualification in Six Sigma, Leadership Academy, in-company postgraduate courses, tuition assistance, internal training etc.
