WEG CEO, Harry Schmelzer Jr., was one of the elected representatives of “The 100 Most Contributing Executives in Energy” award of 2018, in the Management category, promoted by Media Group, a Brazilian company responsible for publishing of Full Energy magazine and reference magazines in the health sector.

The award honors executives, businessmen, and leaders who have stood out in different areas of the Brazilian energy sector in the last year. “The 100 Most Contributing Executives in Energy” award, which given for the first time in 2016, has already consolidated as one of the main events in the energy sector. In total, there are 20 categories that cover the entire chain, such as Public Leaders, Business Sectors, Innovation, HR and Management, among others.

The award ceremony took place on Dec 6 in São Paulo and was attended by WEG Energy´s Sales Director, Neri Miguel Venturi.
