WEG was included in the Most Honored Company List of the Capital Goods sector in the "2018 Latin America Executive Team-Midcap" ranking, which is sponsored by Institutional Investor Magazine, one of the most prestigious specialized publications from the international financial market. The award highlights the best CEOs, CFOs, Best IR Programs, Executive Teams and Investor Relations (IR) Professionals, as well as Best RI websites and Best Annual Meetings with market analysts (WEG Day).

At corporate level, WEG earned six awards: Best Investor Relations Program, Best Investor Relations Team (2nd place), Best Analysts Meeting (2nd place) and Best Sustainable Impact Metrics. 

The company's executive team was also honored in this year's ranking. Harry Schmelzer Jr., CEO of WEG, was named Best CEO for the fourth consecutive year. André Luis Rodrigues was the Best CFO and André Menegueti Salgueiro was the Best IR Professional (2nd place) in 2018 in the Capital Goods category.

The survey reflects the responses of more than 900 investment analysts from financial services companies in Latin America.
