WEG S.A. (B3: WEGE3 / OTC: WEGZY) has been selected for the 4th consecutive time, as component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). WEGE3 shares will integrate, from September 18, 2017 onwards, the Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index 2017 (DJSI-EM) portfolio.

Developed by Dow Jones and the RobecoSAM Group, DJSI was the first global index to assess corporate sustainability considering economic, environmental and social development aspects. In 2017, DJSI considered a universe of 3484 companies worldwide, including 803 largest companies from Emerging Markets, among which 91 components were selected. WEG is one of nine Brazilian companies included in the DJSI list.

WEG has a long tradition of sustainable performance and the inclusion in the DJSI-EM list is an outstanding recognition from capital markets, stressing WEG´s performance as a company making part of the Brazilian Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE), developed by B3.
