The RUW100 remote unit line allows the expansion of digital, analog, thermocouple, Pt-100, Pt-1000, load cell, and relay outputs of frequency inverters, PLCs, AC/DC converters, HMIs, among other WEG product lines, using the CANopen or Modbus communication protocols.
With a modular design, it is the ideal solution for applications in machines or equipment that need to exchange data with supervisory systems or SCADA, optimizing the panel space and adding I/Os according to the need, providing the customization of automation systems.
Operation
The RUW100 remote units receive analog signals from pressure sensors, temperature, flow, load cells, among others, and also digital signals, such as those provided by contactors, push buttons, limit switches and circuit breakers. This data is transmitted to the programmable logic controller through a communication network, reducing the number of cables. Thus, it is possible for a single PLC to command dozens of machines in a factory at the same time, through several remote units.
